Funding
Jazz Hands Productions are now offering funding to student shows taking place in Oxford. Please consult this page for information on types of funding and how to apply.
What funding is available?
We offer pro rata loans up to £300 per production, with no application deadline (you can apply any time). Funding offers can also come with in-kind support, in the form of marketing support through our social media, and advice putting on your show.

Pro rata loan returns are the original monies advanced, plus/minus a percentage of your profit/loss. The percentage depends on how much funding we offer and what your budget is.

For example:
Your budget is £1000
We offer £200, which represents 20% of your budget
Option 1: Your show makes a loss of £200
You return £200 - 20% x £200 = £160
​
Option 2: Your show makes a profit of £100
You return £200 + 20% x £100 = £220
​
We are currently unable to offer grants.
How to apply
To apply, please email your bid and budget (in Excel format) to jazzhandsprods@gmail.com. There is no application deadline, but please allow at least 2 weeks between application and your show.

We recommend using the OUDS Budget Template (which can be found here). In terms of your bid, ideally we would like to see a funding bid (details on how to write one can be found on the OUDS website), but your venue bid will also be accepted.
Shortly after receiving your application, we may invite you to a short online interview with our committee. This will be an opportunity for us to get to know you and clarify details about your budget or show (if required), and for you to ask questions.
